My customer is looking at enabling MFA in their Azure AD.s

Questions;

Does MFA work with D365 F&O? Is this supported? If yes, are there anything change (code or setup wise) that I need to be aware of. Could you point me to the documentation for this topic?

Maybe the question should be - does MFA work with LCS?

If it is not supported with D365 F&O, can customer still turn this feature on for use with O365 and/or CRM (D365)?

If MFA is supported with D365 F&O - how does the authentication work for external users like a partner (or guest account type in AD) and the internal customer?

MFA is working for D365 F&O. In fact, we Microsoft employees have to login that way because our internal AAD requires it.

As far as external users, I'm not sure how or what kind of enforcement there is but that is an AAD question which I'm sure you can find the answer to online.
