Expenditure Participant Assignment in Cash Advance Workflow

Hi,

We are running AX 2012 R3 CU11. we have configured 2 workflows 1 for Expense Reports and 2nd for Cash advances. But while configuring we have noticed there is no option for Expenditure Participant in cash advance workflow which is available in expense report workflow.

    Hi Muhammad Anas Ayub,

    I got the same result. Seems to be a shortcoming of the currently available functionality, which requires some enhancements. If you want to get an idea, how such an adjustment can be made, please check out the following Videos especially the one that refers to the ...participant Provider (organicax.com/.../workflow).

    Thanks for replying,

    I have done some changes in AOT. I have added TrvCashAdvanceTemplate workflow type in Providers after that Expenditure Participant is available but now getting some other error when I submit the cash advance.7587.Capture.JPG

    Hi,

    I don't think that it is that easy.

    Please watch this video in full, as it illustrates in very much detail what you have to do if you want to add participant providers.

    organicax.com/.../vendor-invoice-participant-provider-for-user-selected-approver

    The video does not exactly match your scenario but you can use the technique shown there analogous.

    If you have not done this yourself before, please get a developer involved who modified workflows before. Otherwise, you will need some time to get this work.
