Hello Everyone,
Is there a way to get the user Log or the Page log in which we can see which user did the changes and what?
Appreciate your help in advance.
Thanks!
Kartik
Hi Kartik,
Yes, D365 has the function to check user log.
Check Sys admin- inquires and reports - data cache - user log
You can setup database logging. It has an effect on performance though.
Please check here for more details.
Hello Ramil,
Thank you for the reply. In the User Log I can only get the info about there login time, but I require what changes they have done. Because currently we are having challenges where user change something in the Customer Card or item card and we are unable to track who is doing.
Hi,
have you checked the reports from database in sys admin like data base log and then history?
We don't have setup to create a Log Database for certain tables. As Gunjan suggested I will create a database log for the required table and will see if that work for us.
Hello Gunjan,
Thanks for the help, I am looking into this option. By any chance do you know what exact table I can find use for Customer Master which include all the fields.
Customer master information is stored in CustTable. Name is stored in DirPartyTable. There are some other tables involved for Contacts and addresses etc.
You can start with CustTable and check if the other tables are needed.
The custtable is the right table but you won't find the name custtable in the database log because labels are used instead there.
Please look out for 'Customers'.

Best regards,
Ludwig
Please note that there could be performance implications when enabling database logging. You can check at docs.microsoft.com/.../configure-and-manage-database-logging
Hello Ludwig,
Thank you for your help. I will be applying and will share my results.
