Hi

When we create variable of Record DataType say CustLine with Sub Type say Customer in Forms . How it works.

if in Insert Record in Record variable Custline say CustLine.Insert it will automatically save Data in Main Table.

Hi jsshivalik,

When you use Record_Name.INSERT the data is inserted into the Table. May be the page wasn't updating. Use CurrPage.UPDATE to update your page or manually click the Refresh Button.

Yes, the variable is just an object you are creating. You need to make sure you update your form using CurrPage.Update to retrieve the data.
