Print Destination Settings - File Format Issue - Excel

Hi all,

On the AX client, I got the default "xls" file extension when the excel  (from file, not screen) is selected as the file format from Print Destination Settings. The report/export job is failed and the message said "The permissions granted to user <xxxx> are insufficient for performing this operation." However, the export seems working fine if I manually changed the file extension on the Save as Dialog to xlsx before I run the job.

Note: The file format of excel displayed as "xlsx" by default if I login to AX right on the server.

I have Microsoft Excel 2010 installed on the client, and the excel 97-2003 workbook is blocked from the Trust Center - File Block Settings. I also checked the rsreportserver.config because the export process might be hitting SSRS server at some point I believe.

Under Render section:

<Extension Name="EXCEL" Type="Microsoft.ReportingServices.Rendering.ExcelRenderer.ExcelRenderer,Microsoft.ReportingServices.ExcelRendering" Visible="false"/>

Your assistance in this matter is greatly appreciated!
