Monitoring Tool for SL Application

Is there  a  monitoring tool   for  the Dynamics SL application  ?  I am  not referring to the  back end  database

    Dear Patihk1900,

    What type or feature are you looking for in a monitoring tool for MSDSL?  I don't know of any offhand, but another user may be able to point you in the right direction or confirm that no such tool exists.

    I am  looking for a tool that  would   monitor  performance  of the  application,  advise  on  if the  application is  hanging,  if  is  losing connection with the  SQL database  for  eg. 

    I  already  have a  monitoring  solution for the  database, I am  just  looking  for  one  that addresses the  application.

    I use a monitoring tool made by some guy ==> https://www.ks-soft.net/hostmon.eng/ 

    I used to think that when I grew up I'd learn Nagios. That moment never came.

    We do a lot of H2H and integrations with our SL platform, so the monitoring is mostly over those variables.

    Sample monitoring items:

    • SQL Query: age of the last known currency exchange rate.
    • Files: number of queued incoming files with age > 20 minutes.
    • SQL Query: number of Application Server jobs still waiting
    • SQL Query: number of on-hold inventory transactions > 5 days old.
    • Files: age of last file in the outgoing queue.
