Does Integration Manager have the ability to constantly import JE transactions throughout the day?

Our organization has two accounting systems. This involves exporting all transactions from system 1 and importing them into GP. Currently, we manually export and import transactions in batches.

We would like the integration to constantly import JE transactions as they are posted and exported from system 1.

Has anyone had any success with this?

For this type of setup eConnect or Web Services would probably be better routes to pursue. I like this blog from Chris discussing the two options: blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/.../choosing-between-econnect-for-microsoft-dynamics-gp-and-web-services-for-microsoft-dynamics-gp.

Yes, we have done a similar solution for our customer to import JE Transactions from external System using E-connect . Please drop an email to learn the solution.
