Solution Out Of Date

I'm using a Hololens 2 device and recently got this error message when I tried to open the Guides 365 app (it appeared right after signing in). I have another device on the same environment, logged into the same account that seems to work fine. I've tried un-installing and reinstalling the app and have tried switching wifi networks but it didnt fix the problem. Anyone know what this is?Solution-Is-Out-of-Date-Error-Message-.jpg

Hi Hannah - this error occurs when you use a newer version of the app (e.g., Guides 8.1) against an older version of the Dynamics solution (e.g., 700.*). You will need to get your solution updated through the Power Platform Admin Center (https://aka.ms/PPAC), see instructions at learn.microsoft.com/.../upgrade. Take a look at the instructions and let me know if you experience any issues upgrading.

Note: the most common upgrade failure is trying to upgrade without sysadmin privileges. If you personally obtained Guides through a trial signup, then the account you used has sysadmin and you should be able to log into https://aka.ms/PPAC to upgrade. If your IT setup Guides for you, then you may need to get help from them if they did not give you a sysadmin account.

    Hi Hannah S,

You can refer to this link to see the compatibility between the solution and the application:

Hi David- thanks for your response. I think this on the right track- when I navigate through the poweradmin as per the instructions, it shows me there are no environments. This seems strange considering our other headset on the same account is working. Have you seen this before?

    Hi Hannah,

    About not find the environment,

you can first check if you have been assigned a role:
