Dynamics Deployment Service access asked twice

I have 2 domains. DomainPartner and DomainCustomer.

I have azure subscription(Pay-As-You-Go) on DomainParter and I'm trying to deploy Cloud Hosted Environment on LCS in DomainCustomer.

I have added the admin user on DomainCustomer as guest user in DomainParter with GlobalAdmin privilege and vice versa.

I'm following all the standard steps but The "Dynamics Deployment Services [wsfed-enabled]" repeats after all the steps are completed.

Step1:

Step2:

Step3:

Step4:

Step5: i.e Step2 AGAIN!

I cannot have Dynamics Deployment Service on DomainCustomer because there's no Azure Subscription there.

What am I missing? Appreciate any tips.

Best Regards,

I have the same question (0)

I think you need to add a specific user account (maybe one administrator ) to Azure Subscription as a Contributor, I do hope you added Dynamics Deployment Services [wsfed-enabled] as Contributor under Subscription IAM.

Yes I have done that, added 1 global administrator each from customer and partner domains to the Subscription. Additionally I have now also changed the Subscription Directory to CustomerDomain from partner azure portal. Still same error.

Can Global Administrator ( from Customer ) See Partners subscription once they switch Directory? , and Administrator can Create Resources from the same login under that subscription?

On the customer azure portal, with customer global admin id (which is also added as global admin on the partner azure portal) I can see the Partner Azure Subscription which I assigned from the Partner Azure Portal.

I am not able to add any role here though (in the customer Azure Portal)

How do I delete the 2 Dynamics Deployment service. I was not able to see from the Parter side so added from there once more. But the error was the same before adding it 2nd time.

As per your second screenshot, if you cannot add any roles or modify just refer below to fix that, then try to remove.

    Thanks Amith,

I removed the Customer Admin user as contributor and added as Owner. And maybe something else I don't know (I'm so convoluted right now going in and out of domains :D)

So something right did happen and now it's added:
