I would like to know if it is possible under the opportunity to set discount limits per salesperson or salesmanager like an authorization matrix.
A simple scenario would be:

A complex scenario to set limits by product, region, and salesperson:

The main goal is whenever either a salesmanager or salesperson exceeds the discount limit, he shouldn't be able to proceed in creating a quotation and an approval workflow should be going to the higher management to take a decision.
I believe that as an OOB solution the above does not exist and it should be customized to apply the business logic that we want.
What do you suggest as a solution to apply the above requirements? I think that we need a custom setup table to define the criteria per the above condition and a custom plugin that do check the need to restrict exceeding the limit and a cloud flow for the approval process when a custom toggle is enabled to make it automated.
