Hello,
I have the following problem in WHS environment:
I' ve set up automatic packing (containerization). Along with it, I've set up location directives to put picked items at packing locations. I suppose this is wrong logic, but I did it and now I have stuck loads. I have containers, created automatically by AX, but they are open and they do not close, because they have to be put on final shipping location, for AX to close them. It's not possible to close them by hand. It's also not allowed to confirm the outbound shipment (because of the load status).
I've made another set-ups of the directives - to put items first on packing location, and then on final shipping locations. But nevertheless, containers don't close automatically.
I understand where I'm wrong, and now I have correct set-ups and everything goes OK, but is this expected behaviour? Is there a way to ship the "in packing" loads, or should I do something with scripting?
Thanks,
Ventsislav

It is made by desing. You cannot make (configure) containerization with manual closing container. For me it's stupid, because you cannot control that a picker make his job correctly, also you cannot make any changes (add some commercial or promo materials etc.) . If you use a few different logic areas (f.e. for few entresol picking on different levels) and you split picking list on two different areas, one for each area, you cannot repack does picked item. They think the logic of MS-wms is so powerful that cannot make mistakes ;)
