Online Payment Services in GP

I am looking at online payment services within GP for a new opportunity. I have looked through the blogs\forums here on the site, but was wondering if anyone else has implemented this and if they have had any issues\pitfalls\ or better successes!

I didn't know there were any available natively, I thought you had to get a third party...

We have recommended Nodus's ePayment solution as there is nothing in GP that supports this.

We currently use Nodus but are looking into Azox as an alternative.

Well, first, yes there is a Online Services facility in GP. I have not implemented it as my current demo copy is not licensed for it but it looks simple enough. What I do NOT see is any PCI Compliance components. For example, when a customer provides a credit card, the number is entered to make the payment and history records should only show xxxxxxxxxxxx3456 with supervisor overrides to get access to the card number for a restricted list of people.

I also do not know of any doc on the issue. If you find any, let me know. I need to include this in some of my books. I might suggest contacting your parter technical contact and asking about this feature.

Richard - that is the service we were looking at and as a partner we were looking at this as an option for a new opportunity. The only document I have found is the online help file (it is called Microsoft Dyanmics GP Integration Services Help) when I click on the ? icon. I was also trying to find information regarding PCI compliance and I know I stumbled across it somewhere, but I didn't document where I found it (it is not in the online help).

Hi Carl,

This is just an FYI because it's a little different than some other solutions. The last time I checked, the Azox product was making direct writes via SQL instead of going through a product like eConnect that validated the business logic.

The Azox folks are great people and good to work with, but this one difference was notable to me.
