Where can I setup so I can buy in each and inventory in feet?

Hi,
Create Units of measure for 'Each' and 'Feet' (Org Admin module).
Create the Item with the Inventory Unit 'Feet'.
Create a Unit conversion for the Item that tells AX how many Feet per Each.
Set the Purchase unit on the item to 'Each'.
you can check this steps

How do you get the cost correct per foot? If I receive 1 each it comes in at $300 which is correct. Inventory show 30 ft which is correct, but if I adjust the inventory by 1 ft it cost it out at $300 instead of $10.
You can see cost details in inventory management module /inquiries/transaction
You can see transaction by multiple unit
Just change unit based on your demand , and. Check values
Hi pleh,
If you are removing inventory, AX will cost the item according to the Item model group. What is the Inventory model set to?
And can you post a screenshot of recent inventory transactions for the item?
All the transaction still show the each cost not the foot cost!
We have no item product model group setup.
The inventory model is set at FIFO.
I adjusted out all inventory and received a new po to try to change the cost on the FIFO but it still pick up the each cost.
