Error: Cannot generate form adaptors for model XYZMyModel

Hi all

For the last month or so I occasionally get the error specified in the post subject. I have not been able to find out what causes it and I don't know how to get it to go away.

It doesn't really intervene with my work (what I am aware of). And it usually disappears after a while. But it is concerning...

It has appeared on 2 different environments of mine. And a colleague claims that he get's the error when trying to debug (in a XYZMyModel project), except that error message is for ApplicationPlatform.

I can get the error to disappear by doing a model build, but it will reappear after I build any sort of project.

And then we do not have any Form Adaptor model. I have an idea what it is meant for, but I haven't even ever used it.

Thanks for reading

Ahh thanks Marcel... It was that property on the project. I have been ignoring it since forever, so did not notice it is on. I must have mistakenly set it instead of "Synchronize Database on Build"

    Hi Pete,

A form adaptor is just a wrapper - a way to call your forms from code.

    more details here:

Form adaptor is been replaced by type providers. More info here:

So, you should not worry about this warning.

That said, check if in your project this option is not true:

    Marcel
