Table name for Inventory Posting Profiles

Hello everyone!

I'm trying to create a Power BI report that references the item/inventory posting setup in D365 FO. More specifically, I want access to posting setups for purchase orders. However, I'm having trouble finding the correct table to connect to use this information in my report. It's easy enough to identify the data entity in D365 FO but of course, the naming conventions of data entities don't apply when you're trying to connect through the power platform.

Anyone know if the related tables for item posting are exposed for power platform purposes? If so, what are the names?

Hi,

I do assume you found the data entity Ledger posting definition for inventory (InventInventoryLedgerPostingDefinitionEntity). This data entity is not enabled for public actions. It is only supported to be used with data management.

You can create an own data entity to expose the InventPosting table to OData or other public access points.
