Restrict access to Personal Management by department

Hi,

we have a requirement to give Managers more functionality / information about their direct reports that are not available in ESS / MSS.

Best option would be to give them access to Personal Management but restrict it to their department.

Unfortunately, we can restrict roles only by legal entities, not departments.

Are we missing something? Is there a way to achieve this?

    Hi Parag,

    thanks for your reply. We looked at those parameters. They don't have any impact on the information which a manager can see about his direct reports.

    Any further advice is much appreciated.

    Hi Johannes,

    We currently do not support restricting the view of employees by department.

    As an alternative, I can share another Community thread which explains how you could restrict the view by legal entities: community.dynamics.com/.../restrict-users-from-accessing-employee-data-from-other-legal-entities
