Hello,

I am using NAV 2013. I added "Job Title" field on Customer Contact Card. What I want do is to show "Contact Job Responsibilities" on the Contact Card. Is there a way to link "Job Title" with "Contact Job Responsibilities" ?

Or is there a way to show "Contact Job Responsibilities" on Contact Card

Thank you!

You may also define the Table Relation Property for this particular field with "Job Responsibility" Table. This will also meet your purpose.

On the Table Check the Properties of that field and specify the table relation to the Contact Job Responsibility table.

Paste this in your table relation property

"Contact Job Responsibility" WHERE (Contact No.=FIELD(No.))

"Contact Job Responsibility" WHERE (Contact No.=FIELD(No.))

    Hi Allen,

You already have standard option available in NAV at Contact Card.

Contact Card > Navigate > Person > Job Responsibilities.. You may use the standard functionality available. Further you may use Flow Field (lookup) from this table to display the value selected in Contact Job Responsibility Table.

    Hope this helps.

You can setup a table relation in the property of that field in the item card table. In the Object Designer, design the items table, and select the properties for your field. In the Table Relation field, add needed relation table. Refer to existing known tables and fields for samples.
