CRM Service Calendar and users Outlook Calendar

I have a business problem that I haven't found a solution for

We are using the CRM Service Calendar for an overview of availability, and the scheduling function within appointments to find the available times to book our resources.

Unfortunately this is not working so great as only the tracked calendar items are shown in CRM and users do not track private or none-service appointments in CRM.

Is there a way to either sync/track all calendar appointments automatically from Outlook to CRM, or configure the Schedule option in CRM appointment to include all the Outlook appointments in the search?

We are running Outlook 2010 and CRM 2011, rollup 6.

I don't think so Fridrik. The appointments need to be tracked in order for the calendar to skip those times.

Can they track the appointments as private appointments?

I'm able to track appointments marked as private (I'm running as an admin).

Only possible solution I have found is adding a 3rd party exchange sync, like Riva which is not an option in my case.

I have worked with those Exchange <-> CRM Synchronization tools and they are a huge headache!
