MO is closed, but there's no inventory adjustment.

We have a MO that is marked closed, but it did not add to the finished goods inventory.  Everything like the BOM should be set up correctly; this is not a new item and other MOs for that item went through just fine this month.  What can I do to get the MO to go through so the inventory is correct?

    Hello,

Thank you for using Community Forums. My name is Becky and I will assist you.

Once an MO is closed, you will not be able to reopen it.  You have two options.

    Option 1

You will need to create manual adjustments to inventory to reverse the impact of the closed MO. Go to Inquiry | Manufacturing | MO Activity, determine if the components were issued, and do manual adjustment to bring the items back into Inventory. Create a new MO.

    Option 2

Simply do a manual adjustment to bring the finished good into inventory. Do a negative inventory adjustment to remove any components that should have been used on the MO and were not.
