In posted purchase credit memo did you applied to any purchase invoice or not ?

Please make sure gst registration number on posted Invoice and current PI and PO( if you copy line from there) will be same.
I guess currently on both Posted and PI GST registration no.are different.
I am not clear with what you have said. you are telling to create a new purchase order to cancel the posted credit memo.
You can create purchase order and in application fast tab you can mention posted credit memo. In PO info must be same as applied credit memo.
How to cancel the existing posted credit memo.

Try creating a new credit-memo and copy the information from the original invoice there, and then post and apply. Also you would need to cancel the existing credit-memo.
did you change the GST registration no. from that location or vendor card ?

I Checked in both the Invoice and Purchase credit memo the location are same.

Please make sure that in Purchase Credit memo and applying invoice both have same location? Both documents should have same location.
