When sending an order to the warehouse to put together an outgoing order, the mail should be sent with the order as an attached PDF.
The attachement is lost on the way, however, and only the mail arrives.
I've found a few comments stating that this has having something to do with AX sending mail in RTF-format, and therefore the attachement is lost on the recieving side. Is this correct, and is there anyway around it? Or is it necessary to print the order to a pdf-writer, save it, and attach it to a mail outside of AX?
Grateful for feedback on this.

I have the same question (0)It probably has little to do with RTF or anything else, as we had it with PDF attachments.. the file would generate properly, but simply not get sent. We have seen this in standard reports and in custom code. Attaching the file twice to the same email did actually work (but you got 2 attachments)
We finally solved it by using standard windows .Net mail functionality instead of the standard AX mailer. It hasn't failed us since. The advantage of using .Net for this was that it was already installed on all clients.
