Organisation Hierarchy - Purpose

Hi 
 
I have an organisation hierarchy which is already created and published and i want to Assign the Budget Planning purpose, i can see it has added but i cane view any of the budget plans in those Legal entities, am i missing something?

    The test environment is also the same as shown in your screenshot.
    Being able to only assign budget planning purposes within the Organizational Hierarchy purpose and not view legal entities is standard behavior of the system and is not due to a lack of settings. The purpose of a hierarchy is to view the types of organizations that can be included in the hierarchy. The purpose also determines which application scenarios the hierarchy can be used for.
    If you assigned a budget planning purpose, you can only view the hierarchy for that purpose in the page:

    The organization hierarchies and purposes are not only used for security to limit the legal entities. The budget planning purpose has a completely different goal. You can read about it in this blog post: Budget Planning using allocations - Microsoft Dynamics 365 Blog
