AX Object server stuck in starting

i'm try the AX2012R3 demo package, i follow the instruction in TechnicalGuideAX2012R3SolutionDemoPackageV10.pdf, set up two virtual switch & two network card for the main vm, but i can't open the dynamics ax application. i see the AXobject server status is stuck in starting, how can i solve this problems?

First time start of AOS does takes time.

You can monitor the progress in Windows Event log

if there is any issue it will show up there

Start of AOS does also depends on Server hardware, consider having at least 8GB of RAM

Please verify and update us with your findings

i assigned 6gb ram, but i waited for two hours is the same. Will there are any problems?

Hi,

6GB ram is not much, but indeed you have to wait then.

To speed up I usually disable the services related to Sharepoint search and timer. This is really helping a lot.

In addition to the other suggestions, make sure that the SQL server is running, you have sufficient disk space, and your CPU/RAM utilization is not 100%. As Andre mentioned, 6gb is not a lot of RAM for the demo VM. Even if the AOS starts the performance will most likely be very slow.

As mentioned in this article AX will check to see of the xppIL directory is in sync and will delete/recreate the files if not community.dynamics.com/.../207871.aspx. If there is insufficient disk space then AX may hang.

If performance is not the issue, you might need to double-check permissions for the service account. Does it have sufficient permissions on the hosting system and on the transaction database. For the most part, problems will be put in the Event Log on the AOS Server, but I've seen occasions where that doesn't happen and the AOS still doesn't start. However, since this is R3 I would hope any problems are put in the Event Log.

Hello Nael, if your RAM is not below 8GB, it takes long time to wait. because the issues is on your RAM. but there still a solution.

Goto services, disable Sharepoint, Windows Update temporarily.

on the current services Find Microsoft AOS then right click > go to Recovery > Set all as Restart the Service

Hello

Can you check your Microsoft Account Sign-In Assistant. It must be running on services. After that, go to Control Panel > Firewall > New Rule > Ports > TCP ports to any and etc all any.
