How to Dynamically Select an SSRS Report Design in D365 Finance and Operations?

ReportReport

I have an SSRS report with three different designs, and I want to dynamically select a design based on a parameter.

I'm not sure where I should implement this logic. Should it be done in the Controller class? If so, which method should I use?

Could someone show me the recommended way to do this in X++?

You usually can use parmReportName() method of the controller. The application is full of example, just use Find references. For instance, look into CustAuditorReportController class. In general, you need to do at some point before running the report; it's often done already in main().

It would be also good to know whether you aren't talking about a report that uses print management.

    Hi @CU27080812-1

Please use the your controller class and Parmreportname to change the design during runtime. As mentioned by Martin you can refer the other standard report class as well.

    Thanks,
    Subra
