Access Teams working in Classic UI but stopped after switching to UCI

Hello,

I am on Dynamics 365 CRM 9.1 on-prem. I recently switched over from the classic UI to the UCI. Users WERE able to add users to the user subgrid to add them to a system generated access team for the record they were on. After the switch to UCI they cannot do this anymore. As you can see in the screenshot below they do not have the /Add user/ option. However I do but I am a system administrator.

I have access teams setup as follows:

Entity - Has Access Teams checked
Access Team Template - setup and granting Read/Write/Append and Append To
Form of entity has a subgrid with the folllowing: All Records -> Users -> Associated Records Team Members -> Access Team Template that I created
Security of user that is trying to share has organization-wide Share rights on entity

My assumption is something changed security-wise between Classic UI and UCI for this to no longer work. Also since I, as a system administrator, can see the option then it leads me to beleive it is a security permission issue.

Has anyone ever had this issue or know how to resolve it? I had a similair issue in the past with Posts and it was also a permission issue. It is frustrating because I changed nothing when switching between Classic and UCI. I guess it works differently.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    So I fxied it myself.

Simple: Make sure you have append rights to the user entity.

This is NOT required if you use the classic UI... only with UCI.
