Send email to Manager when he needs to approve Leave

Hi,

I need to send an email to the manager of a user when the user submits a leave. However, I don't find that possibility using the workflow tool:

I need to select them by hierarchy. Is there a way to achieve this?

    Hi Ana

    You have to set the notification one step lower (on teh approval step).

    You are currently setting the notificaiton on the general workflow.

    When I go one step lower I only have these options:

    None of them seems to be what my company needs.

    Hi Erik,

    I followed this https://www.tomelliott.co.uk/2019/06/03/how-to-set-up-email-notifications-for-leave-requests-4-mapping-your-template-to-your-workflow/ and noticed that I was only missing one thing: I forgot to enable the sending of emails to my manager user.

    Now it's working!
