Hello Community,
I added a new field to list page successfully as described in this ttorial: community.dynamics.com/.../how-to-add-new-fields-methods-in-listpage-from-in-ax-2012. But i cannot filter on the newly added field, as you can see on the Tutorial the filter zone field is grey . Might you please helping me filter records based on this newly added field ? If the the field is a physical field on the table, than filter should work automatically.
if instance on Display fields, then filter will not work on it , this isn't possible.
filtering records based on display methods is not available on AX. To solve this, i added the table containing the field of the display method in the query of the list page, and the filter was enabled

Thank you for your answer Ahmad. Indeed, filters on display methods are not possible in AX (I Didn't know ). i added the table containing the physical field to the query and the filter is enabled.
