21Would it be relevant to list up and collect all known issues we know exist with the New Sales Price Experience?
Microsoft has not mentioned any reasons why they chose to postpone the mandatory release version (from v. 28 to v. 31, that's a lot).
I have collected a small set of found issues (I cannot see that anyone has reported these anywhere):
- You can without much warning delete an active Price list (this is the worst!)
- You cannot leave a price list page with unverified price lines (this is the strangest thing seen in BC to date)
- Migrating from Old to New price list experience default create only One purchase price list and One Sales Price list (default should be one price list per Price Group not the opposite)
- You can delete price lines by mistake if you cancel the price list verification in the verification process (you can lose a lot of active purchase price lines when a user had entered a starting date on the price list header for a price list with 40.000 price lines - then the user started the verify procedure and simply closed the browser window before the verification was complete - then a lot of prices disappeared - crazy dangerous feature!)
I have never in my entire BC/NAV/Navision/Navigator lifetime seen a feature similar to this (not even from ISV's).
I have asked some MVP's and YouTubers, if they could give New Sales Price Experiences a sanity check - but I haven't seen a video of it yet.
