Does anyone know if Field Level Security can handle the Save and Delete buttons that are available when you exit from a transaction or card window. For example the following window

Using GPPT is much quicker, simpler and cheaper. Also, it requires no additional deployment steps or future upgrade steps.
I suggest you look at GP Power Tools yourself to see how easy it is and then you can offer consulting time to help people write GPPT projects.

This can also be done by customization, VSTools or Dexterity.
Please email support at Winthropdc dot com with the customer details so we can take this offline.
We do need to confirm they are registered for the Developer Tools module as this is required if you want to write or use custom code.

The customer is already licensed for GPPT.
Yes I will need your help to set up the code. I haven't done this before.
You are right about the transaction inquiry windows. We'll use these.
We'll only need to protect the Cards windows that don't have associated Inquiry windows, such as 'Select Account Currencies' or 'Account Maintenance'.

You can install GPPT and activate the free 30 day trial period.
Ler me know if you need help setting up the code.
For the transactions, wouldn't the Inquiry windows work for you.

The customer wants to give certain users access to certain Cards and Transaction windows but without allowing changes or deletions.
