Yes, it's possible to develop a batch job that changes it.

    Hello Harnish,

Even though it is possible to devlop an auto job that makes this update, can you let us know why you need the month and the year in the number sequence?

The voucher number is usually recorded in tables that also have a transaction date or posting date included, which gives you the information about the month and the year.

In other words, making use of a voucher number sequence that holds the months and the year tracks duplicate information.

Can you explain why you need that?

    Many thanks,

    Ludwig

    Hello Dr. Ludwig,

Thanks for reply. As we need this number sequence for one of our integration software. As this software is also using YYMM but now we are making entries in MSD and after that MSD transfer entries in that Software which we use previously. Now problem is that if i use this number sequence then it conflict with that software number sequence also coz currently MSD is not installed on all branched of my company. Just because of this reason we need this unique number sequence which is use for only that software.

    Thanks and Regards,

    Harnish

You can use SysOperationFramework or RunBaseBatch framework. Please search the web, and/or look at any batch job in the system and use it as an example.

Tutorial_RunBaseBatch class is a nice tutorial for the RunBaseBatch framework.

I suggest you first try to develop a job that updates the number sequence. When that works, develop a batch logic for it. If you need general help in developing batch jobs, and can't find information by yourself, I suggest you post a new question.
