duplicate search string for contacts

Hi,

I try to use the duplicate search string for contacts,but i don't get any results although there are doubles in the contacts. Is this working in the online version? If so, can someone explain how to make it work?

Both options in Marketing Setup (Maintain Dupl. Search string and Autosearch for Duplicates ) or on.

    Hi Marco,

    In the documentation there is not mentioned where you can actually setup the duplicate search string conditions but now I found it on the Marketing Setup Page : Navigate > Setup > Duplicate Search String Setup

    Hello,

    Thank you for the reply. However I am trying to run duplicate search on contacts type "Person" and for some reason they do not appear in the search string.

    Is it possible that this function is only relevant for contacts type "Company"?

    hi Vasil, do you able to setup for the contact type as "Company".

    I did try out but still not successful. Mind to share the setting?

    This function is specifically designed for contacts of the type "Company" and does not apply to contacts of the type "Person". The criteria cannot be modified as it is hardcoded.
