Production Order Posting - Moving Average

I have a production order where the BOM items, and the finished good item, is setup as "Moving Average" costing method.

When I create [START] a Production Order, it posts the estimate costs based on the moving average cost price at the time, of the BOM Items.

I then process a few product receipts for the BOM items, at different amounts, thus changing the moving average of the BOM items.

When I [END] the production order, it posts the cost price of the finished good based on the esimtaed cost price posted when i started [START] the production order.

Is there a way for the system to post the cost of the finished good, based on the NEW moving average cost price of the BOM items (at time of [END].

Production Order Posting - Moving Average
    Hi,

When you are using the moving average option, it will not recalculate cost prices afterward. It can only take the current actual values that is also explained in the documentation:  Moving average - Supply Chain Management | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Learn

In this case, I do assume you consume the goods when you start the production order. You can try to see if you can post the consumption at the end of the order instead.
