Hi All,
I've setup a new company in my VPC and I've configured the basic setup but when I tried to raise the sales invoice the below error I got can any one help me out in this issue.

I know the reply is too late... but for others : In our case, the issue was missing posting profile. Go to Inventory and Warehouse Management > Setup > Posting > Posting... and ensure on the Sales Order tab, the Revenue radio button has values filled in the right hand side grid.
account number for transaction type sales order revenue does not exist
Go to sale order -> search your sale order->Go to main table form of item number where you find this error ->Go to main table form of item group - > click on sale order tab - > fill revenue text
revenue text can be fill by ledger account of chart of accounts.

Hi Ruth,
It may be that the G/L accounts you are seeing in the error are not part of an Account structure that exists on your Ledger.
Go to G/L -> Setup -> Ledger to see the Account structures that your ledger is using.
Go to G/L -> Setup -> Chart of accounts -> Configure accounts structures to check that the account is part of an account structure that your ledger is using.
