Server Side Sync Email Body Displaying ÿþ<

We're on Dynamics CRM Online version 1612 (8.2.2.160)

I have one user who is set up with Server Side Sync and using the lightweight app in Outlook. When they manually track an email it is appearing in Dynamics with the body:

ÿþ<

Which appears to be some sort of Byte Order Mark.

How do I get the user's emails to track the body correctly?

Our organization has experienced the same issue with one user, and we are also using 8.2.2.160

Did Microsoft ever get back to you on this?

This appears to be an issue with the version of Office installed. I uninstalled it and installed from the Office 365 Software page and so far it hasn't reocurred. It also resolved an issue where the user would click a link in the Dynamics 365 Lightweight App which would open in IE rather than the set default browser.
