Hi All,

Items links documents are stored in particular folder.  Users are attaching documents through Items links.  

In that particular shared folders , Users can be read only and nobody can create new sub folder\File or Delete.

By using folder permissions , its not allowing to delete or create but While attaching links is also not working

 please help me regarding how i can solve this by attached document should insert in folder but front we cant create any files and delete in folder

    What do you mean by "while attaching links is also not working"? What exactly error you are facing?

    Using code can we edit the properties of folder ?

    Eg:-  I want mark READ in folder properties by using NAV.

    How to activate that read by using code. Please help me.

    You can try using the .Net Types DirectoryInfo and DirectorySecurity. Something like this

    We apply links to the customer card with a shared folder on our drives.  We are not able to upload any links with the web version.  We are currently using the desktop version and was told that would be going away.  We get this box but no way to attach the correct link.
     
    Any suggestions would be helpful.
