How to add custom button on a lookup field dialog for advanced forms to create new records on powerapps portal

Posted on by 270

Hi Everyone,

I have a lookup field on advanced form and on that lookup i need create a 'new' button that will open contact form for user to fill in.

I was able to achieve this using OOB functionality on basic forms but same functionality doesn't work on advanced forms.

I have my permissions correct i have contact form that i can call but to add the button on the lookup dialog is a mission.

I have tried to follow this blog:https://arpitmscrmhunt.blogspot.com/2018/02/enable-new-button-in-lookup-view-of.html

However adding 'Add New' button part is not clear. I understand the code.

I will appreciate your assistance
