You need to run inventory recalculation batch job periodically for AX to apply the inventory valuation specified on model group

    docs.microsoft.com/.../run-inventory-recalculation

In between running the batch job for inventory recalculation, the default costing is moving average. Only standard costing does not need recalculation or interim moving average costing.

    Hi Van,

Can you provide some more information here? What inventory costing model(s) did you setup in your environment? What exact setup are you trying to enter for the inventory value report? Probably you can include a screenshot?

    Hi Tushar Panda,

    Thanks for replying my case.

I had finished running Inventory Closing before running inventory report.

But I only received the inventory value report is moving average costing.

Is it issue of system ?

    Br,

    Van Nguyen

    Hi André Arnaud de Calavon,

Thanks for replying me this case.

I setup the Inventory model is weighted avg. I really want to view the Inventory report after running Inventory closing by weighted avg but I can't.

Sorry, I can't apply the screenshot at here because the environment owns my customer.

    Br,

    Van Nguyen

    Good morning Van Nguyen,

If you follow a weighted average inventory policy then your items are linked to an inventory value model that has a weighted average inventory model configured, right?

If this is the case and after running the inventory closing all of your item values should follow this weighted average principle.

Can you let us know where your inventory valuation does not follow this principle?

Do you have an example that you can possibly share?

    Many thanks and best regards,

    Ludwig
