Sales Order Inventory Reservation and Pick location

Hi,

i have a question , inventory Reservation and pick work creation.

I have warehouse setup with two Zones and one zone is blocked for pick work creation and the other Zone is our Picking and work creation zone.

I we have just updated to Version 10.0.6, and now i am getting work created with no Pick location.

My understanding this should never happen

I have checked the Work creation template and can not see anything wrong.

    Hi Tom,

    A work template is used to create and process warehouse work at various stages in the warehouse management process.

    There may be many reasons for blank location in work line. Please firstly check the set up for location directive and location profiles. Check the specific location and work type selected for the item.

    additionally could use the inquiries

    1 Work exceptions log

    2 Work creation history log

    3 Temporary work history

    along with location directive and directive code

    you could share visuals if issue is not resolved

    Hi Tom,

    Are you expecting work creation to fail in this scenario? Or are you expecting that you cannot reserve if there is not enough stock in the picking zone?
