Email card on Timeline

We have a custom email card to display on the timeline. Until recently there was no issue. Now on the custom card we are seeing all the HTML tags where the default card doesn't display the HTML. Has anyone else ran across this? As you can see below there is a big difference even though both reference the description field on the same email.

Hi Holst,

This is a known issue for Dynamics CE and the fix will be deployed in NA on 8.28. We have a workaround to mitigate the issue. Please help to mark the answer as resolved if workaround helps. Thanks!

Sadly we still have to apply this workaround as the issue doesn't seem to be fully fixed yet.
