Dynamics 365 and AD groups

Dear,

I would appreciate if you could help me with few concerns.

We have made AD groups on Azure as well as on the Dynamics 365. As stated it takes a while for members to sync. Either user/member needs to log in or we need to wait for the sync, which takes a while. My question is is there any way to force this sync. As I have been going through  out forums there are two ways to sync in between: using PowerShell or Flow. Since I do not have rights, I could not test it out. Does anyone knows if using this means would sync members to Dynamics 365 AAD Group  Teams from Azure AD?

Another issue that we are having is that not all members are being sync. Let's say that we have two members on Azure AD and both of them should be synced, since they have a licence and everything other is same for both of them. Still only one user is synced. Does anyone knows why this is happening? I have to mention that we are using Azure AD groups across multiple environment.

Also, is there any workaround to test roles if you do not have additional user, such is tool in Dynamics AX from Visual Studio for simulation? We do not have rights on Azure to add test user, so I was wondering if there is some mean of testing and simulating. I tried to fake it and add user to Dynamcis AAD in Dynamics, but I am not allowed. Could this be done programatically?

Thank you for your time.

Best regards,

DZ

    hey

    Regarding the first 2 points:

    1) you can use Flow and PowerShell.  But also, if you go to PowerPlatform Admin center and you try to add the user again (user graphic interface), it will trigger the user sync again. This is documented on docs.microsoft.com/.../troubleshooting-user-needs-read-write-access-organization as steps 3, 4 and 6.

    2) If you have 2 users on the same security group but one of them is synchronizing but not the other, definitively you should open a request to Microsoft Support to verify the conditions that are being evaluated for each user.
