Create a segment using a CSV file

Hi there,

Is there a way to import existing/new contacts from a CSV into a segment to use in the Dynamics Marketing App.

For example, if we have a list for an event we used in eventbrite of those who attended an event, can we upload that segment builder to create a segment based on these emails.

Hello,

Segments do not yet feature export and import for members. We are looking at adding such capability in a future release for static segments.

Until then:

What information is contained in your CSV file? Are these the full contact data and you desire to import the full contacts and have them included within a segment?

In that case I would recommend to use the general import capabilities to import contacts, and then upon import have a field like "import sequence number" filled with an identification of the import. Then you can build a dynamic segment that identifies contacts by that import sequence number.
