Session Date and batch job(s) wrong date(s)

Hi,

We have 3 times the incident that our batch job invoicing takes the wrong invoice date! For instance Sales Order is created at 13-08-2020 and the invoice date will be 05-08-2020.....

Batch jobs are running under the Admin account.

My guess is that when you change the session date in Development or UAT environment this affects our Production machine. Also it occurs not instantly but at a random day ? :-(

Problem is solved by rebooting the AOS server.

Any one has faced this problem ?

I have the same question (0)

Changing session date in dev or UAT doesn't have any impact on your prod system. Perhaps someone accidentally changed the session data in prod?

Do you have some customizations in the invoicing process? Perhaps there's a bug that could explain it.

    Thanks for your reply.

Session date for the Admin user can only be done by 2 people in our team so that can not be the case. But we have changed it in UAT and DEV but we will never-never change it in PROD.

No customizations in invoice process what can be related to date(s).

Prod environment and Dev/UAT environment using different database, so could not be the case that change the session date in Dev/UAT environment this affects the Production machine.

May we ask is the difference always 7 days between created time and invoice date? if not, what's the time zone setting for admin account, the create time is UTC time stored in database, but the Invoice date will stored as date which consider Admin user's timezone setting.

If the difference always 7 days, this could be related to some code logic issue, suggest you raise a support ticket to Microsoft have a further troubleshoot.

    Hi,

Did you find any reason to the issue. I am having same issue, invoice is created on different date and posted on back date.
