Hi Experts,

How can i set the default value in the EcoResProductCreate form for the form control field ItemGroupId

this is my code not works for me

[FormEventHandler(formStr(EcoResProductCreate), FormEventType::Initializing)]
    public static void EcoResProductCreate_OnInitializing(xFormRun sender, FormEventArgs e)
    {
        FormStringControl control;

        control = sender.design().controlName(formControlStr(EcoResProductCreate,ItemGroupId));

        control.text('123');
    }

Hi,

The control "ItemGroupId" on the form has property AutoDeclaration set to "Yes". It will be easier to do this using CoC instead, since you can access the control directly.

You can try this code and see if that works for you.

[ExtensionOf(formStr(EcoResProductCreate))] final class TecEcoResProductCreate_Extension { public void init() { next init(); ItemGroupId.text("Audio"); } }

also, I use this code to set the default value for the ItemGroupId

this.productData().referenceGroups().parmItemGroupId('123');
