Change AOS in Terminal Server client

I want clients on Terminal Server to connect to AOS02 instead of AOS01. The client utility shows the active configuration store is the AOS02 axc file but the client still connects to AOS01.

What am I missing?

Hi Tom,

Check if the shortcut has a startup command which includes a configuration next to the ax32.exe executable.

Is the client started with a specific config file rather than the active config from the configuration utility?

Is there load balancing involved?

I think the problem you are referring to is that because the Active Configuration is per user profile configuration.

Hi Tom, Do you have load balancing enabled? Its possible that your load balancing settings are moving you over to AOS01 even though your connection is to AOS02

you need to change and create a new client configuration pointing to AOS2, or you if you have both AOS added, just move AOS2 up and save. more info at: msdn.microsoft.com/.../aa548643%28v=ax.10%29.aspx
