Unable to set User session for On-premises Non-IFD environment

Posted on by 140

Hi All,

For On-premises Non-IFD environment can we enable user session? Ours is V9.0

Tried setting it using power shell command.Able to see default values on ServerSettingProperties configuration entity in SQL.Still unable to those option in CRM.

Does it work only for IFD deployment?

Need guidance on this.

Thanks in Advance.

    Hi,

    Yes, these security enhancement features require claims-based authentication for user authentication. You can configure claims-based authentication in one of two ways:

    You can set an inactivity timeout for each of your instances. For more details, you may refer to this CE on-premises doc.

    User session timeout ::

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customerengagement/on-premises/admin/user-session-management#user-session-timeout

    Please mark my comment as answered if this helps.

    Thanks,

    Saurabh
