Personalization

Hi,

We have done the update on the system and we had issues with the personalizations, so we roll back the feature, but right now, we are not able to share a personalization on power bi.

the only way i was able to see it, is when i personally add it to myself, but not when someone else shared it with me. 

Any ideas?

    Hi Astrid,

    You are mentioning Power BI. Is your question related to personalization of Power BI reports within Dynamics 365 or are you using e.g. Power BI desktop?

    Hi, we are trying to see the powerbi personalizations through dynamics. 

    we checked that it was added to the azure tenant. we also checked that the users were able to consent to apps accessing company data.

    and i still cannot see the personalization shared with me.

    i can manually add it and then see it, but before i was just able to share with an user and the user was able to see it.

    Can you probably add a screenshot to illustrate your issue? What exact personalization was shared with you and what update on the system are you referring to?

    Hi,

    One of my coworkers took a off the box report from dynamics and customize it (add a logo and changed some colors).

    Then he went into System administration => Personalization => Apply => select user and import personalization.  

    and this is what we get

    Hi Astrid,

    This clarifies the issue you have now.

    You can try to re-configure the Power BI integration using the documentation: docs.microsoft.com/.../configure-power-bi-integration

    thanks. the report needed to be entered through the visual studio unless you add it yourself.
