Setting the subpages's width and height on Sales Order page

Dear All,

A Customer of ours has asked whether it is possible or not to set the subpage's (page : 46) width and height  in  Sales Order (page : 42) using Navision 2015.

So far i told them, to "minimize" the other  groups (such as General, Shipping, etc...) so only the sales line will be shown,  'thus making it more "user friendly". However, after a bit of googling, i found an article regarding the RTC layout modification of pages from C#.

Would you have any idea(s) whether i'm on the right track or not? Oor, if you had any past experience in such matter, could you please direct me to the right forum/blog/what ever help is out there?

Thank you in advance: Ruben

in general there are only view options to influence the layout of pages, it's an automatic layouting. but you can try to change the layout using groups in more levels and remove fields and groups from the page which are not used.

    follow for layouting:

    Dear Jonathan,

Thank you for your response. Yes, I've seen that post before, but still, if I indent the subpage, putting it into let's say General tab, the following problem occurs :

As you can see in the above linked picture, there will be an approximately 10cm wide empty space, which could be used to extend the sales order subpage in question. Regarding the unused fields, unfortunately only the essential fields are present currently and i can not remove any of them.

Thank you, and best wishes: Ruben

One thing you can do is change the page type to Worksheet instead of Document, not sure if you like the layout but it will solve that space you are referring to and please refer this forum post
