Hi

  I am uploading Data using DataPort in Table 81. I have Debit Amount & Credit Amount in Excel Sheet with CSV format. I want value in Amount should come Automatic. What i need to do

    Hi,

    You can do it in couple of ways.

    First one you can do it by mention negative balance in amount field

    (If balance is in negative then it will credit balance and if balance in positive then it will debit balance)

    Second one you can add two more fields (Credit Balance and Debit balance) and import in same manner.

     ok . If I import Credit Balance & Debit Balance fields but how the value will be saved in Amount field

    As you want to update the field in general journal page. Then go to Dataport>General journal>Design then click on veiw and then C/al Code>  VALIDATE(''Amount''); in General journal- onafterimport records().
