Hi

I am getting this error message everytime I want to consult an item's Coverage settings. Setting are properly cofigured, but I don't understand this message. I would appreciate any advice.

    Hi

I looked the error message up in code and to "quote" from there:

if min/max is used and not all coverage planned dimensions are specified, then consider this setup as invalid and ignore min/max values.

So, have a look at what dimensions are set up with "Coverage plan by dimension" and verify that you specify all these dimensions in the coverage settings.

Hope this helps ... else, if you are allowed to debug, look at class ReqSetupDim, method setReqItemTableGrouped, line 61 (in R2, might differ slightly in R3).

    Kind regards,

    Annette

Look at the dimension group for item coverage settings, then check all are set in the item coverage setting record (not that a coverage group is set against an item)

    Hi Annette,

Your post was really helpful. The problem was that Storage Dimension Group assigned to the item has Site and Warehouse selected for Coverage Settings. InventDimId assigned in ReqItemTable included Batch number and Location, thus the error message about inconsistencies in coverage settings.

    Hi Steven,

Yes, the problem was in fact related to dimensions selected for coverage.
