Report sometimes generating split screen

Hi all

This is an intermittent problem and so far only reported by one of our users.

The user is using Chrome (as are most of our users).

We use a customised version of AX and our user is finding that sometimes, we she clicks on print to generate a report, the screen is splitting into two horizontally with the report in the lower part of the screen and the original screen still showing in the top part of the screen.

If she closes the report and tried printing it again, sometimes it will display full screen (normally) and sometimes it will still only show the report in the lower part of the screen.

If she closes AX altogether and then goes back in, then the display will show normally.

I wondered if this could be a Microsoft Issue as the report display has changed in recent months, with a much smarter black/grey look and feel to it.

Any ideas?

    Hi Ludwig

    I hope you get this message as I clicked on reply under your post but it doesn't seemed to have taken me to your post!

    I haven't tried another browser yet because only three people are reporting the issue out of 50 and everyone is using Chrome.  Instead, I've reset the users profile in AX who first reported the issue and am waiting for them to come back to me.  If that fails, I will ask them to use Edge for a while.

    Have you tried some other browsers and browser sessions?

    Did it make any difference?

    Hi CP,

    Does the issue happen if you use the MS edge browser?

    In addition, has the user who sees the issue cleared the browsing history?

    And ... if the user who sees the issue runs an in-private browser session, does the issue show up as well?
